Stephanie Kirkpatrick is a medically certified holistic skin care specialist. In 1978, a love affair with the natural health and preservation of the skin began. She has had the privilege to work with and study under those who most consider to be masters in the skin care industry, gleaning golden nuggets of age prevention each step of the way. Her background began in Philadelphia in product development and distribution which quickly moved her into her passion, education, as an instructor with John Robert Powers finishing and modeling school as well as teaching smaller groups of the benefits of caring for the skin both internally as well as externally, with techniques that would last them a lifetime. This skill set took her to Illinois, teaching at John Casablancas Modeling School. As director of a modeling agency, Stephanie taught these same skills to her models to keep their skin looking fabulous.
In the late 1980’s, she added commercial make-up artistry to her repertoire. By the time Stephanie became a licensed esthetician in the mid 1990’s, she had been teaching skincare techniques for nearly twenty years. Education continued at some of the premier institutions on the east coast, the International Dermal Institute, Aveda’s Soho Institute , to name the most well known. Being in close proximity to New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, I had the opportunity to study with many influential masters , like Dr. Howard Murad, Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Pugliese, just to name a few .
In 2002, Stephanie relocated to Texas. After visiting some of the most well known spas in Dallas, realized it would be hard to find a spa that truly embraced the idea of addressing the aging process of the skin at its source, the dermis. Early 2003, Plano plastic surgeon, Dr. Sam Lam, founder of the Willowbend Wellness Center introduced Myong Chong, founder of Hanna Isul. She apprenticed under Myong, mid 2003 until late 2006, working as both esthetician and educator. January 2007 she received her Medical Aesthetics certifications and in February of 2007 Stephanie founded 4ASkincare, focusing on teaching clients to naturally care for the health of the skin inside and out. She is a regular contributor to Equanimity, a national magazine based in Dallas.
